YEREVAN. – According to rumors, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan was on a working visit to Shirak Region two days ago wearing a bullet-proof vest, Zhamanak daily reported.
“In response to Zhamanak’s query as to what was the purpose for [Abrahamyan’s] meeting with the villagers while wearing a bullet-proof vest, [and] whether the PM was cautious about something, Abrahamyan’s assistant Tigran Abgaryan said:
‘“I formally say that the rumors on [Abrahamyan’s] wearing a bullet-proof vest are not true. Hovik Abrahamyan was not wearing a bullet-proof vest,’” Zhamanak wrote.
