YEREVAN. – An Azerbaijani saboteur has killed an Armenian officer and wounded a woman. 

The incident occurred on the border between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, near Sotk, on Friday evening, Armenia defense minister’s press secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

In his words, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Saturday informed that the Armenian soldiers have killed an Azerbaijani saboteur while neutralizing the adversary’s diversionary team on Friday in Karvachar Region.

But an Armenian officer was killed and a woman was wounded during the crossfire.      

Hovhannisyan also noted that the wounded woman was taken to Muratsan Hospital Complex in capital city Yerevan.
