Investigation Discovery channel has been fined for $171,000 for a documentary about female killers shown before 9p.m.
Ofcom, British regulatory authority for broadcasting, said the documentary breached the Broadcasting Code, BBC reported.
The documentary series contained the graphic and reconstructions of torture, mutilation and murder.
According to Ofcom, Investigation Discover showed eight episodes of the documentary in the morning and afternoon on 16, 18 and 20 August, 2013.
