Russia and the other Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) members will participate in educational operations.

Colonel Yaroslav Roshchupkin, assistant to the Russian Federation (RF) Central Military District Army commander, told the aforesaid to reporters.

These operations are a part of the Border Line 2014 large-scale military exercises which kicked off Monday, and under the auspices of the CSTO.

Soldiers from RF, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and representatives from the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat are participating in these military drills.

In addition, specialists from Armenia and Belarus have been invited as observers to the military exercises, reported the RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
