YEREVAN. – A new pharmaceutical company will be set up in Armenia's free trade zone, Economy Minister said.

During the government's meeting on Thursday, Karen Chshmarityan said the application of PharmaTech CJCS for operation in the free trade zone has been confirmed.

The company manufacturing medicines and pharmaceutical tools has already invested €1.2 million in the production of tablets and eye drops.

PharmaTech plans to launch new production in the free zone by investing another 4.5 million in manufacturing medicine for injection. In five years, the company plans to increase the staff to 94 people with a salary higher than an average in the country.
