YEREVAN. – The citizens of Armenia are equal to the Russians in the labor market of the Russian Federation (RF).

Gagik Yeganyan, Head of the Armenian State Migration Agency, told the aforesaid to reporters on Thursday.

He recalled that pursuant to the Armenian-Russian agreement that was signed on July 11 in Sochi, Russia, the Armenian citizens can conduct business activities in Russia without additional authorization and paying additional taxes. That is, they will have shared bases with the Russian citizens.

In addition, not solely the Armenian immigrants, but their family members also will be considered legal residents of Russia during the entire duration of the work contract. The Russian citizens living in Armenia likewise are given the same privileges.
