YEREVAN. – Heritage party deputy chairman said Armenia needs snap presidential elections.

Armen Martirosyan is convinced that the ruling regime is not capable of protecting country's interests. In this context, he recalled that unless Armenian leadership fulfills opposition-proposed 12 demands, the country will have “a new situation” in fall.

“In September we will ask people what they want, and I am sure they will speak for full change of power,” Martirosyan said in response to a remark whether the parliamentary four wants to stage a coup.

Asked about possible joining of Orinats Yerkir party, Heritage deputy chairman did not rule out cooperation with any of the non-ruling political parties.
