Malaysia’s Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai expressed concern over the way in which the security measures are ensured at the crash site of the Malaysia Airlines plane that was destroyed in eastern Ukraine.
“Just as the Ukrainian government has pledged, we hope that they will allow our specialists to see the crash site.
“Today I leave for Ukraine, and I hope I can help with this matter,” the minister stated, reported ITAR-TASS news agency of Russia.
“Justice should prevail,” the Malaysian minister also stressed.
He added that the plane was destroyed in a flight-free zone.
The Malaysia Airlines Boeing-777 passenger plane, which was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed Thursday in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast (Province), near the Russian border. There were 283 passengers, including three infants, and fifteen crew members onboard the aircraft, and all of them lost their lives.
