YEREVAN. – Armenia’s economy continues to “work miracles” also during the tenure of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Zhoghovurd daily reported.
“Armenia’s economy grew by 3.4 percent in the first half of this year. The Armenian National Statistical Service has issued these data.
“Abrahamyan’s government pledged to ensure a 4-percent growth for this year. Moreover, in the first quarter of this year, when Tigran Sargsyan was the PM, the economic growth was 3.3 percent, according to official data, whereas in Abrahamyan’s days, it increased by a mere 0.1 percent in three months.
“This, perhaps, shows in a quite ‘telling’ manner the ‘effectiveness’ of the government activities,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
