Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan considers “adequate and even more” the Armenian side’s reaction to the Azerbaijani intelligence-sabotage team’s recent infiltration into Karvachar Region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and to the adversary’s shots being more actively fired in the border areas in recent times.

Abrahamyan, who visited Gyumri city to discuss housing issues, told about the aforesaid to reporters on Tuesday.

“I myself have been to [Armenia’s] Tavush [Region], in the [bordering] Movses village, where those in charge told me that if they [the Azerbaijanis] shoot once, we shoot several times more.

“We can’t tolerate their brazenness, encroachments,” the PM specifically stated.

Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that the Armenian side shall respond to such actions by the Azerbaijani side.
