YEREVAN. – The rising energy prices in Armenia should not become an obstacle for the innovative development of the country’s economy.
Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan stated the above-said to reporters on Thursday.
“The global economic competition remains just as stiff, and those countries that develop the human resource, which prepare high-class specialists and increase labor productivity, introduce new technologies for the country’s economy,” Chshmarityan added.
As of August 1, the price of electricity in Armenia will increase by 10-15 percent.
