YEREVAN. – The warning letters by U.S. Embassy addressed to Armenian entrepreneurs must be taken into consideration, that's it. This was stated by the head of Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan in response to a letter sent to the government and business on Wednesday.

The embassy warned about reputation risks in case of making deals with Russian companies included in the sanction list of the United States.

“This is a statement that they get from State Department and spread it all over the world. But, we must take into account that Armenia differs by it geographic location and economic ties, and we are in a special situation. Therefore, we should take a note of this letter, but only take a note,” he said during a press conference on Thursday.

The companies included in the so-call “blacklist” are actively functioning in Armenia, among them Gazprombank and VTB.
