YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.28/$1 in Armenia on Friday, going up by AMD 0.27 point as compared with the previous day.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 544.17 (up by AMD 0.56), that of one British pound was AMD 683.65 (down by AMD 1.65), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.36 (down by AMD 0.06), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 268.12 , AMD 16,897.79, and AMD 19,319.21, respectively.
The sales totaled $1.2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.26/$1.
