YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 411.99/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.02 rise from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 549.68 (down by AMD 1.91), that of one British pound was AMD 691.07 (down by AMD 0.42), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.41 (up by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 262.93, AMD 17,315.55, and AMD 19,484.55, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 1,250,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 411.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 411.5/$1.
