YEREVAN. – Not only Armenians, but foreign tourists are traveling to Western Armenia, a historical part of Armenia in today's eastern Turkey, representative of Economy Ministry said.
“There are regional travel agents suggesting tours across the Republic of Armenia and Western Armenia. These routes are quite popular,” Mekhak Apresyan said during a press conference on Wednesday.
The new tourist project is being designed by the Association of Armenia's inbound travel agents together with Russian colleagues.
