YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party Chairman Khachatur Kokobelyan, party board member Armen Arakelyan, and board member and spokesperson Anzhela Khachatryan on Thursday met with British Ambassador Katherine (Kathy) Jane Leach.

During the talk, which was held at the party office, the interlocutors discussed the current situation with respect to settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict—specifically, the recent situation on the Line of Contact—, and the domestic and foreign policy issues of Armenia, the party news service informed.

They underscored the need for the aforesaid conflict’s pacific settlement within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, the importance of Armenia’s European integration, and the prospects for possible developments.
