Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili announced Tbilisi's readiness to start talks with Abkhazia from scratch.

“Georgia knows the price of peace, and knows there is no alternative to peace,” he said.

Garibashvili is confident that the way or reconciliation, the return of fraternal relations, revival of damaged relationship and peace negotiations, which implies taking into account the interests of Abkhazia, will bring to unification of Georgia, Novosti Gruziya reported.

Garibashvili recalled that the war damaged the country and separated Georgians and the people of Abkhazia.
