STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire, on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, around 450 times from August 10 to 16.

During this time, more than 4,500 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, primarily adhered to the ceasefire, and they took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely necessary, the NKR MOD press service informed.
