YEREVAN. – Armenian wine can strengthen its positions in the Russian market, experts believe.
Vazgen Safaryan, chairman of the Union of Native Commodity Producers, said Armenians failed to fill the gap in Russian market several years ago.
“After a ban imposed on Georgian wine, Armenian winemakers failed to fill this place in the Russian market. But now, for may have an opportunity, given that Armenian wine is a good mid-price option,” Safaryan said.
