YEREVAN. – U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern met with some members of the Armenian Yezidi community at the U.S. Embassy on Wednesday.
They discussed the current situation for Yezidis in Iraq and the U.S. involvement there.
Ambassador Heffern underlined the United States Government’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the Yezidis’ humanitarian plight in Iraq and its commitment to their wellbeing.
