YEREVAN. – The trade between Armenia and Georgia has grown by 42 percent in the first half of this year.

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili stated the abovementioned Thursday during his joint news conference with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

As per Garibashvili, there is also a positive trend in tourist visits.

“All of this speaks to the fact that the economic relations are developing between our two countries, and we certainly will assist this trend. Our visit to friendly Armenia serves this very purpose,” the Georgia PM stated.

He also thanked Abrahamyan for the warm reception and expressed joy on the occasion of his visit to Armenia.

The Georgia premier also underscored the need to invigorate bilateral ties.
