Nothing will change in Armenia-Turkey relationship with the appointment of Ahmet Davutoglu as a prime minister of Turkey, editor of Istanbul-based Armenian daily told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

Ara Gocunian said Ahmet Davutoglu is a politician who is shaping Ankara's foreign policy, and relations with Armenia are unlikely to undergo any changes.

“Davutoglu have been holding important positions over past 12 years. He used to be Erdogan's chief foreign policy adviser and finally a foreign minister. There will be hardly any significant changes with his appointment. Given that Davutoglu was one of the decision makers on Armenia-Turkey relationship, there will be no changes,” Gocunian noted.

Turkey's newly elected president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared he is going to appoint Ahmet Davutoglu for a post of prime minister.
