YEREVAN. – The rockslide at Upper Lars and the closing of the highway, which leads from Georgia to Russia, has not interfered with the storage of Armenia’s fresh export fruits.

Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan stated the aforementioned at Friday’s press conference devoted to the new Armenian government’s first 100 days at office.

As per Karapetyan, the shipping companies continue to store the crop.

“We hope that the road will open in ten to twelve days, and the transport communication—including export-oriented shipments—will continue in normal mode. This road is very important for us,” the minister noted.
