YEREVAN. – Representatives of four parliamentary political forces will meet next week to discuss future plans, head of Heritage faction Ruben Hakobyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The agenda of the meeting has not bee determined yet, but the parties are likely to discuss a package of jointly submitted bills ahead of new parliamentary session.

“Secondly, September is coming, and we must decide what to do until September 30. Anyway, I do not think that any force of the quartet has changed its approach, as the ruling party has shown they are reluctant to fulfill any of 12 demands,” he said.

The four parties – Prosperous Armenia, ANC, Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun – have published 12 demands to the government around three months ago. They gave the authorities time till the end of September, warning they would launch nation-wide protest action as soon as the deadline expires.

Hakobyan is convinced the ruling party lacks political will to make any serious moves to lead the country out of grave economic and social situation.
