Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that, despite the “presence” of some “nuances,” Russia recognizes Petro Poroshenko as the new President of Ukraine, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
In the minister’s words, official Moscow hopes that Poroshenko will make use of the mandate of trust to stop the war.
