YEREVAN. – The pilot project of tablets in Armenian schools will be tested in 2015, Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said.

There are already some schools where tablets are used during the classes, but nobody has the right to force children to change the notebooks to screens, he said.

“The pilot program with tablets will begin in September 2015. But it will be preceded by the research to be carried out by experts on children's health. We need to understand whether the student is capable of using equipment for a relatively long time at such an early age,” Ashotyan emphasized.
