YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service has released information.
Accordingly, a 3.1-magnitide earthquake occurred Tuesday, at 2:11am local time, on the Armenia-Georgia border, 17 km northeast of Armenia’s Ashotsk village, and the tremor measured magnitude 4 at the epicenter.
The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 7 km beneath the surface.
The quake was felt in Armenia’s Bavra village, where it measured 3 magnitude.
In addition, the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia was contacted, and it informed that they have no casualties, or devastation.
