YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.62/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.35 rise from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.90 (up by AMD 0.58), that of one British pound was AMD 679.07 (up by AMD 0.13), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.34 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 256.68, AMD 16,820.86, and AMD 18,648.14, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 410.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 410.5/$1.
