Azerbaijani media reported that a citizen of Armenia was taken captive on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Yeni Musavat newspaper, a 53-54 years old man crossed the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan near Kemerli village. The man allegedly spent 20 minutes in the village and then was taken by Azerbaijani servicemen.

The Armenian side is clarifying reports.

Azerbaijani media rushed to present the man as a saboteur, just as in case of Karen Petrosyan.

Karen Petrosyan, a resident of Chinari village, was taken captive on August 7, and on the next day Azerbaijani side reported about his death of “a heart failure”. It should be noted that shepherd Manvel Saribekyan and mentally ill Mamikon Khojoyan were earlier presented as “saboteurs” by Azerbaijani officials.
