YEREVAN. – Three of the seven Armenian military servicemen, who were wounded on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact in the past one month, are still at the Armenia MOD Central Military Clinical Hospital in capital city Yerevan, Hospital Director Aram Asaturyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The [health] condition of the three soldiers is good; they are still in hospital, since they are undergoing an evaluation. At present, the matter of whether or not they are fit for [continuing their military] service is discussed. After the conclusion, we will either send them home, or [back] to service,” Asaturyan said.

The wounded military servicemen are Captains Srapion Melkonyan and Sargis Stepanyan, and Privates Armen Petrosyan, Norayr Kamalyan, Grigor Grigoryan, Varuzhan Margaryan, and Benik Petrosyan.

In late July and early August, Azerbaijan carried out several attempts of sabotage infiltration on the Line of Contact, but the adversary was forced to retreat every time. Official Baku had informed about the death of 26 and the wounding of about thirty Azerbaijani soldiers.
