YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Friday participated in the official opening of the annual Armenia Expo 2014 regional trade and industrial exhibition, which is held in capital city Yerevan.

“I consider the holding of such exhibitions to be the best platform for the establishment of business ties and the representation of Armenia in international economic markets. Armenia Expo already has its own unique place among international exhibitions,” Abrahamyan specifically noted in his welcoming remarks.

In addition, the Armenia PM gave a particular importance to the holding of discussions simultaneously with the exhibition.

He also expressed the hope that the agreements reached during this event will turn into long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.

“Our future success is directly related to the invigoration of economy, and I’m confident that such initiatives produce results,” Abrahamyan told reporters. Subsequently, the Premier toured the pavilions.

Over seventy companies from Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Iran, Turkey, Poland, etc. are participating in Armenia Expo 2014.
