The Police of Armenia received a call on Friday at 6:50pm.

Accordingly, Maralik city resident Vahram Vardevanyan (born in 1988), who suffers from psychological illness, had killed his father Harut Vardevanyan (born in 1959), who likewise was psychologically ill.   

The son had killed his father at their home, during a domestic dispute, and by stabbing him with a kitchen knife.  

The operative team, which was dispatched to the scene, discovered Harut Vardevanyan’s dead body at home.  

Vahram Vardevanyan is arrested, and an investigation is underway into the incident.
