YEREVAN. – Turkey continues its policy of Armenian Genocide denial consistently, Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan told the first public television.
His comment came in response to the remark by Turkish FM Cavusoglu who accused Armenia of not settling relations with Turkey and claimed that the Armenian side has not answered to Prime Minister's letter dating back to 2005.
“I would not like to think that Turkey foreign ministry's archives do not have the answer issued by the Armenian side that came several days after the letter sent by Turkish PM on April 25, 2005,” Kocharyan said.
“Turkey continues the policy of Armenian Genocide denial consistently as well as attempts to deny historical facts. It is Turkey approach that continues to be an obstacle to normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations”.
