YEREVAN. – Anna Aghajanyan, who is Armenia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, was received, on Friday in Jakarta, by Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the President-elect of Indonesia.

Ambassador Aghajanyan conveyed to Widodo Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s congratulatory message on being elected President of Indonesia, informed the Armenia MFA press service.

In the ensuing talk they discussed Armenian-Indonesian relations, the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, and the importance of invigorating the interactions between people.

Both sides acknowledged that steps need to be taken to promote high-level mutual visits between the two countries.

Indonesia President-elect Joko Widodo asked Ambassador Aghajanyan to convey his warm greetings and good wishes to the President of Armenia.
