YEREVAN. – Armenian government for the second time approved the package on preferences for IT companies.

The preferences include zero income tax and 10-percent profit tax. The preferences are also suggested for startup companies with not more than 15 employees and for a period of not more than three years. The law also will function till 2020.

According to Economy Ministry, the draft bill will help create 400 new jobs.

The bill was submitted to the parliament in March but was blocked by four parliamentary parties – ARF Dashnaktustyun, Prosperous Armenia, Heritage and ANC.
