YEREVAN. – Situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border has become calmer, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said on Friday.

As a result of retaliatory preventive measures and mechanisms targeted at restraining opponent's aggression, situation on the border and line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan armed forces has become much calmer. There are shots, but less in number, Minister said.

“On the border with Armenia, there are only a couple of shots within 24 hours, and around 30-40 shot at the line of contact between Karabkh and Azerbaijani troops,” he said.
