YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a report on Monday at 4:37am.
Accordingly, there was smoke in an entrance of a building in capital city Yerevan.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the MES Rescue Service informed.
The fire was extinguished at 5:05am.
As a result of the fire, however, the carpet on the front door of an apartment was burnt up, and the adjacent wall was damaged.
