YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister believes Turkey-Azerbaijan joint military drills are not a threat to Armenia.
Turkey and Azerbaijan have joint plans to hold strategic activities, and the drills are a part of the plan, Seyran Ohanyan told reporters.
“The military exercises are a part of plan. We are following them,” he said.
According to the plan confirmed by Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, large-range tactical exercise of all types of forces and with participation of Turkish military units were launched on September 13.
