YEREVAN. – The three opposition political parties – ANC, Prosperous Armenia and Heritage – have noting in common with the interests of the state and public, analyst Ruben Mehrabyan believes.

He commented for Armenian News-NEWS.am on refusal of the three parties to raise the issue of joining Eurasian Economic Union during the rally planned for October 10.

To ignore the issue means to throw Armenia into regular political catastrophe.

“It means these people stand aback from the public interests. No one will be interested in what they are going to do during the rally,” Mehrabyan emphasized.

Different forces and groups are trying to use weakened position of the authorities to achieve a revolution from within as it happened in 1998. Three parties' actions are a careful bid, he added.
