YEREVAN. – The “Help Yezidis” social initiative is organizing a humanitarian aid collection in Armenia, and for the Yezidi people who, as a result of violence in Northern Iraq, have become refugees and found shelter in camps.

The humanitarian aid collection will be held on Sunday, at the park across the Shahumyan Square in capital city Yerevan.

“The necessary aid supplies are food, baby food, baby hygiene supplies, clothes, shoes, blankets, [and] medicine.

“You may also donate money wherewith, however, the aforesaid items will be purchased, too, and sent in the form of goods,” the respective statement specifically reads.
