STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan on Friday visited Chartar village and attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the St. Vardanants Church.

Subsequently, the PM held a working consultation with the heads and the council members of Chartar’s communities, informed the NKR Government press service.

The community leaders told the Premier that especially the paving of the village roads are carried out in full swing.

Reflecting on Chartar’s economic development opportunities, Harutyunyan noted that a new program will be launched in the NKR communities, and in the form of cooperatives.

The PM stressed that the first cooperative in the country already has been formed this year, and with state funds, in Talish village of the Martakert Region.

Following the consultation, Ara Harutyunyan visited Chartar’s kindergarten being built with charitable funds, got familiarized with the paving of the village roads, and toured the village hospital where renovations are underway.
