YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan on Monday met with Indian Ambassador Suresh Babu Thadipaneni to discuss issues related to cooperation on education.

They discussed exchange of students and implementation of educational projects. In this context, Minister Ashotyan said attracting foreign students is one of Armenia's educational policy priorities.

Armenian minister invited his Indian counterpart to participate in the Ministerial Conference and the Bologna Policy Forum that will be held in Yerevan next year.

For his part, Ambassador said India is interested in Armenia's institutions of higher education. He offered to organize contests on Indian culture,for the winners to get prize and an opportunity to visit India.

The interlocutors touched upon the documents signed between the sides and other issues related to bilateral cooperation.
