YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan, will head for Minsk.

In the Belarusian capital city, and from Tuesday to Thursday, the delegation will participate in the third congress of the teachers and education workers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and Ashotyan will attend the regular session of the Committee of Education and Science Ministers of the CIS member states.

In addition, the ministers are scheduled to meet with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, informed the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia.

Among other matters, the CIS ministers will discuss the matter of setting up a pedagogical university rectors’ council.

A roundtable discussion is also planned with representatives of the mass media of the CIS member states.
