YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan said Armenia highly appreciates Greece's balanced and constructive approach to the settlement of Karabakh conflict.
Greece is supporting the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group, President Sargsyan said during his joint briefing with Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulias.
The Armenian leader thanked Greece for being one of the first countries recognizing the Armenian Genocide as well as for adoption of the bill criminalizing genocide denial.
President said he has invited his Greek counterpart to events marking the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in 2015.
The sides also changed views on international agenda, expressed concern over the situation of Christian communities in the Middle East.
