YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday paid a visit to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in Yerevan, and in connection with the Chinese National Day.

The President congratulated Ambassador Tian Changchun, the Embassy staff, and the Chinese people on the 65th anniversary of the PRC.

In addition, Sargsyan issued a message of congratulations to President Xi Jinping of China.

“Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent development of friendly relations and political dialogue, and the further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with China.

“I am convinced that the Armenian-Chinese partnership will continue to increasingly develop for the benefit of our peoples,” the Armenian President’s message specifically reads.
