STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakh authorities being committed to the Geneva Convention provisions and displaying goodwill have handed over the body of Azerbaijani saboteur with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The body of H. Hasanov, the third member of the Azerbaijani diversion and reconnaissance group penetrating into Shaumyan region of NKR who showed armed resistance during the arrest and was subsequently neutralize,d has been handed over to the Azerbaijani side.
The Nagorno-Karabakh commission on POWs, hostages and missing persons said the body was handed over on Thursday near Bash Qarvend village between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan.
