YEREVAN. – The number of Russian tourists visiting Armenia has been growing over the recent years, representative of Economy Ministry Mekhak Apresyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The share of Russian tourists in the total flow increases. And I must say that political factors alone do not play a significant role. Armenia is becoming more recognizable as a place to stay for Russians, and this interest is justified. We see that they return home satisfied with the quality of services,”Apresyan said.

Among the tourists coming from Russia the number of non-Armeniansis is growing.
