YEREVAN. – The dead body of an Iranian citizen was found in capital city Yerevan, Armenian News- NEWS.am has learned from the Police.

The Police received a report from a hospital, on Monday at 12:10am, that an ambulance team had transferred the dead body of an unidentified man to the hospital.

Another report was received sometime thereafter that an argument had occurred nearby Armenia Marriott Hotel.

The operative squad, which was dispatched to the scene, managed to determine that the dead body was that of Iranian citizen Esfandiar Kayhani, who was born in 1959.

In addition, a bloody, fracture-torn wound was discovered at the nape of the dead body.

A forensic examination is commissioned, the circumstances of the incident are being ascertained, and an investigation is underway.
