YEREVAN. – Economy Minister Armen Chshmarityan said Armenia wants to preserve EU trade preferences.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Chshmarityan said Armenia's joining the Eurasian Economic Union will not affect development of relations with the European Union.
“In early November we will continue talks with our European partners on a strategy, according to which relations will be developed,” the Minister said.
The contacts will not be narrowed down, they will grow to a higher level, he assured.
“We attach great importance to maintaining GSP+ preferences that enable to export over 6,000 items to EU with zero or reduced customs duties,” he resumed.
