YEREVAN. – The Yerevan International Communications Biennale got underway Thursday in the capital city of Armenia. A total of 320 creations—10 percent of which from Armenia—from about twenty countries have been submitted to the event.
“This is a pretty big number. The winning works from other festivals also have been invited to the Biennale; that’s why a heated battle awaits us.
“[But] the most important is for the Armenia-based creator to battle, compete with the creators from the world,” Biennale Chairman Armen Martirosyan told reporters.
The Yerevan International Communications Biennale will run until Saturday, and the respective creations will compete in nine categories.
Within the framework of the event, master classes also will be held until Saturday.
